first two weeks of June 2010!

Awkward Silences by Kelly Young-Silverman
Director: Kimberly Oberheu
A nice dinner with friends turns into confession, when the awkward
silences are to much too bear.

Common Ground by Raymond Fast
Director: Carolyn Choe
When Adam, a homeless man, is befriended by twelve-year-old
Savannah, their innocent, unassuming friendship challenges the girl's
protective grandmother's perspective of others and herself.

Jubilee Catalog Sales by David L. Fisher
Director: James Beck
It would seem that a company that only sells from its catalog would be
eager to get that catalog into as many homes as possible.  But maybe not
in the world of Jubilee . . .

Moonlight by James Beck
Director: Bob Smith
A son looks skyward for answers as his mother tries to keep him on
familiar ground.

Much, Much Later by Susan M. Steadman
Director: Jason B. Caldwell
In the indeterminate future, three visitors to our ravaged planet draw
conclusions about life on earth based on a few suburban artifacts found
in a backyard.

One Beer by David Allan Dodson
Director: Chris Brooks
One man.  One woman.  One beer.

Pony Rides are for Girls by David Marshall Silverman
Director: Tanya Carroll
Sam, a man planning his seven year old son's birthday party, is
surprised when Coppo the clown shows up in Sam's backyard to pitch
his party skills.

The Powell Plot by Daniel Carter Brown
Director: Kevin Kincheloe
Two siblings consider the purpose of headstones, the meaning of “final
resting place” and the appropriate treatment for their father’s remains.

Two Guys Fishing by Nick Boretz
Director: Travis Young
On a warm day by a lake, two quarrelsome brothers fish and maybe reel
in a moment they can share.
Coming February 2011
in association with
Lionheart Theatre
In Lieu of Flowers
by Atlanta Playwright, Daphne Mintz
Who is the mysterious woman that appears
at a funeral home to pay respects to a father
and uncle of two men?  The nephew, James,
can’t shake the unanswered question.
The son, Damon, is not sure he really wants
to know. The answers reveal more about
themselves than of the mystery woman
and show us all how shared moments can
stand, for better and worse, beyond any token
of remembrance.
