A play by James Beck

A man is haunted by characters from his favorite childhood book.  Now, these characters are all
grown up and relevant to his life and the mystery he has never been able to solve.

Development to Date:

•       The play was originally written and conceived as a one character play.
•       The idea of the play was developed further in a writing group with Chris McConnell through
late 2002, early 2003.
•        A sit-down reading of the play in June 2003 led to a rewrite with three characters in the
play.
•        A second sit-down reading in September 2003.
•        OMP produced a week long workshop of the play and two public readings.  The readings were
held on October 19th and 20th, 2003.
•        In 2006, Working Title Playwrights presented two public staged readings of the new draft of the
play as part of their Summer Reading Series.
•        OMP plans to produce the first production of this work.
